(Manasha) A Hindu serpent goddess.

Madhursi
A Hindu goddess of spring.
Maitri
A Hindu goddess of goodwill and friendship.


Maya
In Hindu belief, she the mother of Gautama who in a dream, saw the future Buddha enter her womb in the shape of a little white elephant. Seven days after his birth she died of joy. She is the virgin aspect of the triple Hindu Goddess, symbolized by a Spider, spinner of magic, fate and earthly appearances. The spider's web was likened to the Wheel of Fate and the spider to the Goddess as a Spinner, sitting at the hub of Her Wheel. Her colors are white, red and black; hawthorne is her tree.



Mayavel
A goddess of children.



Mirabai
She is the Seeker of Spiritual Ecstasy. Much like Chaitanya's life of devotion to kindness, love and service, Mirabai spent her life composing songs of love for Krishna; tradition says that Krishna appeared to her in his form of Divine Child (Nadugopal). Mirabai refused to accept suttee upon the death of her husband, explaining that her true spouse was forever Krishna.

Minaksi
